Monument Grills are a company founded in 2001 in Atlanta, Georgia by a team of experts in grill design and manufacturing. It is a premier manufacturer of gas, charcoal and pellet grills. Nowadays the company has between 51-200 employees and while their brand is new, their factory has been manufacturing, OEM for some of the biggest names in the business for a long time.

The executive team is three ex-Home Depot executives and the factory owner of one of the best grill plants in the world- Bill Godwin, Tom Armstrong, Winston Ledet, and John Yu. The four of them came together out of frustration with what was in the retail market for grills. You could either buy a very cheap grill in the $180 to $300 price point that looked great but did not cook so well and did not last a very long time, or you had options that performed, but were $500 or sometimes a lot more.

So their goal was to deliver high performing grills at a great value. Today the brand offers you outdoor gas grills with superior cooking performance, made of high-grade materials which makes the sturdy construction and good price for the value. The rugged outdoor designs are inspired by the American West. The company Monument Grills has only six models of gas grills to choose from. Two of the Monument gas grill models have a Clearview lid, two of the models come in a black-coated steel and two of the models have a feature of searing side burners.

The Monument grill has 4 main stainless steel burners, 1 ceramic side burner and 1 sear burner with a total of 72,000 BTUs of cooking power. It has 513 square inches of primary cooking area, 210 square inches of warming rack cooking area plus a side burner. This Monument Grill gas grill has a built-in ClearView glass window which makes viewing very easy and it also features a built-in thermometer right in the middle. The appliance-grade glass is very likely grease up over time, but you can always clean it with some baking soda and water like you would an open window. This Monument gas grill has a separate battery compartment for four AA sized batteries which power blue LED lights around each of the control knobs.

A separate battery compartment houses four AA batteries to power blue LED lights around each of the control knobs. Therefore, it makes it a lot easier to grill your food at night. Because the knobs feature a line for marking the temperature setting, the blue LEDs will provide you a means of knowing the position of your controls when it’s dark outside.

The assembly of Monument gas grills is more complex than other brands of grills. The doors, lid, and side shelves of this Monument gas grill are all made with 430 stainless steel which can be also found inside of premium appliances like dishwashers and refrigerators. 430 stainless steel has excellent heat resistance and good corrosion resistance. The 4 main burners and two side burners of this Monument gas grill are made with the even more corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel which is usually used to make a kitchen sink. The searing burner is the ceramic.

The light from the burners will help you to see your food. Also, the four AA batteries should give you a good amount of casual usage. A separate AA battery provides power to the electronic push-button ignition.

It has porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates which are designed for even cooking, enamel flame tamers which ensure even heat for the delivery of great flavors and an electronic ignition system for easy burner starts. The black porcelain ClearView lid has a built-in window for easy viewing and also features a built-in thermometer right in the middle which monitors the temperature inside the outdoor gas grill. All the other features of this grill are the same as model #35633 previously described.

This Monument gas grill is easily portable as it has four heavy duty casters that also lock into position when you need it stationary. 6-Burner Propane Gas Grill Model # 77352

This  Monument 6-Burner Propane Gas Grill Model #77352 includes 6 main stainless steel burners and one side burner with a total of 84,000 BTUs of cooking power. This gas grill is designed with an electronic ignition for easier starting and it also has a USB light. All the other features of this Monument gas grill are the same as model #35633 previously described, but it is a bigger gas grill due to the 6 burners.
